National Incident Management System
NIMS

Agosti Fire & Safety Services Incident Management Division can assist your organization with NIMS compliance, NIMS training and NIMS utilization.  The key to successfully and safely mitigating any emergency is good management.  Emergencies are dynamic and complex scenarios that are driven by a variety of events.  Your community, local government and emergency response organizations must be prepared to meet the challenges.  NIMS provides a framework  for comprehensive incident management.

Too many times individuals involved with managing emergencies say NIMS and ICS don't work when confronted with a complicated scenario.  The truth is, NIMS and ICS do work, however, the incident managers must be thoroughly trained in incident management concepts and principles.  While you can read from a book or click through a computer based training program to receive a certificate, our team goes well beyond reading to the student and showing slides.  We use real world scenarios and realistic concepts to demonstrate how to apply NIMS and ICS.  We help you make sense of all the technical terms, acronyms and complex scenarios.  Our Incident Management Division is made up of professionals from all public safety disciplines who have real experience managing real emergencies in both urban and rural settings.
