Fire & Safety Services, Inc. (AFSS) is a privately owned company dedicated
to serving government and public safety agencies.
The AFSS team offers a vast
scope of skill sets to public safety entities, including healthcare
facilities, educational facilities, and regional public safety entities.
AFSS works with public safety entities in
order to assess vulnerabilities, and plan to prevent and/or mitigate
incidents. We coordinate and provde training, and then test plans and
training with HSEEP compliant excercises.
AFSS also works with public safety in the
acquisition and management of federal grant programs, including the State
Homeland Security Grant Program and the Interoperable Emergency
Communications Grant Program. AFSS researches all regulations and assists
agencies with the acquisition of grant funds as well as the expenditure of
funds within the current parameters.
Currently AFSS works repeatedly with
several hospitals in northwestern and northwest central Pennsylvania, as
well as multiple school districts and universities. AFSS serves in grant
administration, program management, and training and excercise coordination
for the Northwest Central Pennsylvania Emergency Response Group.
